Subscription & Billing Terms
Last updated: 2026-09-03
How plans, trials, renewal, taxes, failed payments, upgrades, and cancellation work. Prices are not written into this document; they come from the live plan catalog.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | month | 3 analyses per month. 1 seat. | No paid renewal on this plan. Usage limits still apply. |
| Starter | $49 / month | month | 25 analyses per month. 3 seats. | Renews automatically each month until you cancel. The price charged is the then-current catalog price for this plan. |
| Team | $149 / month | month | 100 analyses per month. 10 seats. | Renews automatically each month until you cancel. The price charged is the then-current catalog price for this plan. |
| Scale | $399 / month | month | 500 analyses per month. 25 seats. | Renews automatically each month until you cancel. The price charged is the then-current catalog price for this plan. |
1. Plan catalog — not legal price lists
Verity offers plans configured in the application (currently including a free plan and paid plans). Prices, included analyses, seats, trial days, and billing interval are defined in the plan catalog and shown at checkout. They are not hard-coded in this legal text and may differ from any example you have seen elsewhere.
The Legal Center page for these terms displays the current catalog so you can see plan name, interval, price, and included usage.
Taxes, foreign-exchange, and payment-provider fees may be added by the payment provider and are not always known to Verity in advance.
2. Free plan
If a free plan is enabled in the catalog, you may activate it without a paid checkout. Free plans remain subject to usage limits, these Terms, and the Acceptable Use Policy. Free access can be changed or withdrawn with notice, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
3. Trials
If a plan includes trial days in the catalog, the trial length shown at checkout applies. When a trial ends, paid billing may begin if you selected a paid plan and did not cancel in time. Trial availability is controlled by plan configuration, not by this document.
4. Paid plans, interval, and renewal
Paid plans are billed through the configured payment provider (currently PayPal for paid checkout). Billing interval is the interval on the selected plan (for example monthly).
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current catalog price for that plan unless you cancel or we notify you of a price change as described below.
Before checkout we show: plan name, price, billing interval, renewal, usage allowance, cancellation information, refund information, and that taxes may apply.
5. Taxes
You are responsible for applicable taxes. The payment provider may collect tax where it is required to do so. Displayed plan prices may be exclusive of tax.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry according to the provider, mark the subscription past due, suspend analysis entitlements, or cancel the paid plan. You can update payment details with the provider and reactivate from Billing.
7. Upgrades, downgrades, and plan changes
Workspace billing admins can change plans from Billing, subject to entitlement and seat limits. Upgrades may start a new checkout. Downgrades to a free or lower plan take effect according to the provider and our entitlement ledger; unused paid time is handled under the Refund/Cancellation Policy, not as an automatic cash refund unless required by law or we agree otherwise.
8. Price changes
We may change catalog prices for future periods. For an existing paid subscription, we will give reasonable notice before a price increase applies to a renewal. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect. Mandatory consumer rules on notice and cancellation still apply.
9. Cancellation and non-payment
You can cancel from Billing in the application. That control is intended to be accessible without hiding it in these Terms alone.
Cancellation and refunds are detailed in the Refund/Cancellation Policy. We do not claim that all payments are non-refundable as an absolute rule.
We may suspend the Service for non-payment after failed renewals.
10. Credits and unused usage
Unused analyses in a billing period do not automatically roll over unless the catalog or an explicit written commitment says so. Promotional credits, if we issue any, have no cash value and expire as stated when issued.
11. Merchant of record
Paid charges are collected by [VERITY LEGAL ENTITY] through the payment provider. Invoices and receipts, if issued, will use the operator details on file: [VERITY LEGAL ENTITY], [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Billing questions: [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL].
