Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-03
How to cancel Verity, what happens to access, and when refunds may be available — including mandatory consumer rights.
1. How to cancel
You can cancel a workspace subscription in the application under Billing. Look for “Cancel subscription.” You do not have to email us first, though you may contact [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL] if the control is unavailable.
Cancellation is also described in the Subscription & Billing Terms, but this policy is the primary cancellation/refund notice.
2. Effect of cancellation
If you cancel immediately, paid entitlements may end when the provider confirms cancellation. If you cancel at period end (when that option is offered), you keep access until the current period ends.
Free plans can be left active or the workspace can stop using analysis. Closing the account is separate from stopping paid renewal; request account deletion via [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] if you also want Customer Content removed subject to the Privacy Policy.
3. Refunds
Refunds are not guaranteed for unused time, unused analyses, or change-of-mind after a paid period has started, except:
- where we choose to issue a goodwill or error-correction refund
- where the payment provider reverses a charge
- where mandatory law gives you a cancellation, withdrawal, or refund right
We do not state that all payments are non-refundable.
If a charge was duplicated, unauthorized, or the Service was not provided due to a failure on our side, contact [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL] so we can investigate.
4. Mandatory consumer-protection rights
If you are a consumer under Israeli consumer-protection law, or another mandatory consumer regime that applies to the transaction, those rights prevail over any conflicting sentence in this policy or the Terms. We do not attempt to contract around mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights.
Business customers purchasing as an organization may have different (often narrower) refund expectations, still subject to mandatory law.
5. Trials and free plans
Canceling before a trial converts to paid billing, when a trial is enabled on the plan you selected, avoids the first paid charge if you cancel in time. Free plans have no paid charge to refund.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment provider where possible. Timing depends on that provider and your bank or PayPal account.
